Established as Jim Hoffmann Pty Ltd, we have been involved in the farming sector for in excess of 50 years and the hay industry for over 30 years. The business expanded and evolved as Green & Gold Contractors.

Developing long term business relationships with people along every process remains a priority.  Surrounding ourselves with people we trust and who can trust us.

Our business is growing, producing and feeding hay.

As a family we run a mixed farming enterprise across the Western District and Wimmera.  Producing pasture, legume & cereal hay, and a sheep farming enterprise. We have a fleet of high density balers giving us contracting power to produce hay at peak quality.

Green & Gold Contractors have a unique insight into the hay we deliver. We have been involved in the process well before there’s strings around it. Long term relationships with farmers as fodder producers and users   

The business operates from an office at ‘the depot’- at the Green & Gold Farm in Western Victoria, where the majority of maintenance and operations are based, mechanical servicing and hay storage. Our Wimmera depot is at Jung with hay storage facilities.

With a combined collection of experience and knowledge, together with a fleet of advanced hay making and hauling machinery, Green & Gold Contractors are equipped to offer quality hay production services and fodder sales into comprehensive and established hay trading marketplace.
